Wednesday, Oct 18, 6 – 9:00 pm The Charlotte Carolina Club is pleased to announce that our 23rd William R. Davie Scholarship Dinner will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Myers Park Country Club. We welcome UNC basketball legend Phil Ford ’78 as our speaker and honored guest.
The Charlotte Carolina Club has been able to provide over $120,000 in scholarships, over the years to more than 80 Charlotte area students because of this event. Last year’s event raised $18,000 and provided 9 Charlotte-area students with $2,000 scholarships each.
There are several ways you can become a 2017 Davie Dinner supporter:

Sponsor Levels
- Davie Poplar: $1,000
- Old Well: $500
- Bell Tower: $250
Each sponsor level includes two dinner reservations (regular tickets will be $75 each) plus a listing on our the Davie Dinner page and in the dinner program.
JUST ANNOUNCED! Phil Ford has agreed to host a pre-dinner event for all sponsors. From 5:15-6:00, we will gather in a separate room at Myers Park Country Club. The three (3) sponsor levels will be treated to a sponsor-only event with Phil.
