Saturday, May 12 at 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Join your Charlotte Carolina Club for a community service event at the Loaves & Fishes National Association of Letter Carriers, STAMP OUT HUNGER food drive. This is an important food drive for families that depend on Loaves & Fishes for help feeding children during the summer months while school is not in session. On May 12 postal carriers will collect donated food items from homes on their routes and drop off the food items at various post office locations throughout Mecklenburg County. Our group will be sorting the food as it comes in to the Eastway Drive post office location. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old and must wear closed-toe shoes.
