Wednesday, Oct 24, 6 – 9:00 pm The Charlotte Carolina Club is pleased to announce that our 24th William R. Davie Scholarship Dinner will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Myers Park Country Club. This year, we are pleased to welcome Dean Kevin M. Guskiewicz, College of Arts & Sciences, as our featured speaker. Guskiewicz has served as dean of the College of Arts & Sciences since January 2016 and as a faculty member since 1995. Guskiewicz is a neuroscientist and nationally recognized expert on sports-related concussions. His groundbreaking work has garnered numerous awards and has influenced concussion guidelines in the NCAA and the NFL.
Along with contributions from the Charlotte Carolina Club, the Davie Dinner has raised more than $130,000 in scholarships for 100 Charlotte area Carolina students.

UNC Admissions Informational Session and Q&A (5 p.m.)
Prior to dinner, there will be an informational session and Q&A with UNC admissions for parents of prospective students. This session will address how to apply to UNC, important deadlines, financial aid information and common myths or misconceptions about the admission process. (Limited seating is available, RVSP required when registering).
