UNC v Duke Game Watch (Feb 8)

Thurs, Feb 8 8:00pm It’s one of the two games you wait for all year – Carolina at Duke. We’re holding this game watch at Moo & Brew this year. This is our $5 Fundraiser that not only helps us raise money for our Charlotte Carolina Club scholarship fund but it also automatically enters you in our raffles for an autographed UNC basketball, a super cool National Championship Rameses bobblehead and other fun prizes. And don’t forget that you are also contributing to our scholarship fund with the purchase of every blue cup!

Advanced sales are now closed; you can still pay the $5 admission in cash in person.

You’ll get 2 raffle tickets for each $5.

BLOCK PARTY DETAILS: The Moo & Brew crew will have their outdoor beer garden area ready for our party. They’ll have plenty of heaters and some tables. No tent is planned unless the weather takes a turn for the worse (rain). It’s projected to be clear but cool. Last year a few professional tailgaters brought blankets and chairs and we think that sounds like an awesome idea. There will be a BIG SCREEN TV outdoors with great sound (like they had for the tournament games last year). The bar inside will be hopping so they’ll also have a small, cash only bar outside in the beer garden serving up $6 PBR and 9 Oskar Blues and $9 Deschutes Fresh Squeezed. And this game will be the introduction of Moo & Brew’s very own MOO & BLUE CUP! (it’s still 32 oz like the HNH original). Lastly, there will be extra potties outside by the beer garden.

The railroad crossing on Central Ave next to Moo & Brew WILL BE CLOSED TONIGHT. Cars cannot pass but you can walk across the tracks. Please plan your route accordingly. 

Parking will be at a premium in the lot. There’s a paid lot across the street and street parking around the Plaza Midwood area if you don’t mind the walk. We always recommend a car service so that you can avoid parking altogether while responsibly enjoying an adult beverage.

REMINDER! We’re only able to accept cash at the door. The nearest ATM is about 1/2 mile down the road. We encourage you to pre-register or stop for cash before you arrive.
